Mumbai bids farewell to its iconic Red Double-Decker Buses after 8 decades of charm on the streets

Mumbai's famed red double-decker buses, an iconic fixture in the city's public transportation for over 80 years, will be retired this week, as confirmed by a representative from the BEST undertaking. These open-deck double-decker buses, a favorite among tourists for sightseeing since the 1990s, will cease to operate on city streets beginning in the first week of October.
